TEACHING

I teach piano, music theory and singing from my private music studio in Blackburn South, Melbourne. I started teaching in 1994, and since then I have taught hundreds of people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.

 

One of the things that became very apparent to me early in my teaching career, was that people want very different things from their music lessons. As a result, I make every effort to tailor the lessons to meet the individual needs of each student.

 

I have considerable experience teaching many different styles of music, but I specialize in classical music. Many of my students have achieved excellent results in their music exams (mainly AMEB), but I have also taught many people who wish to learn for pleasure without the pressure of exams.
